MARKA is a marketing planning, content and publishing service operated by MARKA Media (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/678793/07. This policy explains what information MARKA collects, why it is used and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We may collect account details such as your name and email address; business information you provide; marketing campaign, content and approval data; and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.
When you connect Meta products, MARKA may receive account, Page, Instagram and advertising-account identifiers, names, permissions and access tokens. Access tokens are stored server-side and are not displayed to other users.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, connect requested services, prepare and publish approved marketing content, create advertising drafts when expressly authorised, provide support, improve MARKA and protect the service from misuse.
Sharing and service providers
MARKA shares information only as needed to provide the service, comply with law or protect legitimate rights. Service providers may include Supabase, Vercel, OpenAI, Resend, Paystack and the channels you choose to connect, such as Meta, LinkedIn or Google. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy practices.
Optional advertising measurement
With your permission, MARKA loads the Google advertising tag to measure visits and new account registrations. Google may process advertising identifiers and technical information such as your IP address. Registration events include an opaque identifier to prevent duplicate counting, but do not include your name or email address. Enhanced conversions and personalised advertising are not enabled by this integration.
You can allow or decline measurement and change your choice using Cookie preferences. Declining does not affect your access to MARKA. Your browser stores your choice and a record of queued registration events. Google processes measurement information under its own privacy practices.
Storage, security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. Information is kept only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may disconnect Meta through MARKA or Facebook's Business Integrations settings. You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information by following our Data Deletion instructions.
Children
MARKA is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13.
